Be a part of our September 7, 2026 Labor day Picnic!

(But hurry - the deadline is fast approaching!)

Labor Day at Oaks Park is a beloved tradition that unionists have always looked forward to, but friends, we need your help!  In order to put on this massive (and expensive) undertaking, we need more partners to step forward and co-sponsor the event.

So far, we have 11 co-sponsoring unions whose members will be able to revel in union music, chicken with all the trimmings, a craft fair, informational exhibitors, words of wisdom from our pro-labor political leaders, and of course, RIDES! 

But we need more of you to step forward.  Last year, 25 different entities joined NOLC in hosting this party – more than twice the number as have stepped up to the plate this year.

Remember, working families who would love to be a part of it cannot gain entry unless their union co-sponsors and has obtained ride or non-ride bracelets (the Park’s version of attendance passes) for them. 

If you’re a union leader, please call (503) 235-9444 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to sign up to join us.  If you’re a rank-and-file member, ask your union whether they’ve done so.  If they have not, show them this notice!
